Pool Paint Online – Shipping & Delivery Policy

 

1  Where we ship

Pool Paint Online currently ships only to street addresses within Victoria and Tasmania, Australia.

  • We do not deliver to any other state or territory, nor to PO boxes, parcel lockers or international addresses.

  • Orders placed with a delivery address outside Victoria or Tasmania will be cancelled and fully refunded.

 

2  Order processing

  • Dispatch window: In-stock orders received before 11 am AEST are usually packed within 1–2 business days.

  • Custom-tinted or special-order items may take up to 14 business days.

  • All products are classified as Class 3 Flammable Liquids and move only via approved road-freight (Vic) or road-freight + Bass Strait ferry services (Tas).

¹ Times exclude the processing period, public holidays and events outside our control (weather, strikes, ferry delays, etc.).

 

4  Tracking & delivery

  • A tracking link is emailed once your consignment is created.

  • Authority to Leave (ATL) is the default. Unless you select “Signature Required” at checkout, the driver may leave the goods in a safe place.

    • When ATL is granted, risk of loss or theft passes once the carrier records the delivery scan.

    • Re-delivery or redirection fees apply if freight is returned because the address is incomplete or unattended (signature service).

     

5  Shipping charges & surcharges

  • Live freight quotes (including GST) are shown at checkout for Victorian and Tasmanian postcodes.

  • Bulky, palletised or >250 kg dangerous-goods consignments may attract a manual surcharge—we will confirm the amount before dispatch.

  • Remote-area or island-surcharge fees levied by carriers (e.g. King Island, Flinders Island) are passed through at cost.

 

6  Risk, loss & damaged goods

  • Title to the goods passes on receipt of full payment; risk passes at delivery (or ATL scan).

  • Report transit damage or missing consignments to us within 48 hours (include photos/consignment details); we will arrange a remedy in line with the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Minor cosmetic dents to tins are common in dangerous-goods freight and do not affect product performance; claims are assessed accordingly.

 

7  Delays

Delivery dates are estimates only. Pool Paint Online is not liable for indirect or consequential losses caused by late delivery, but we will actively assist with tracking and escalation.
