Why Colour Matters

Pool colour does more than set the look. It changes how the water reads in sunlight, how deep the pool appears, and how warm it feels. Luxapool® Epoxy comes in 25 colours, all formulated for UV stability and chemical resistance in Australian conditions.

How Tone Affects the Look

• Light shades — Regency White, White, Platinum, Opaline. Brighter, cooler, more inviting. Good for smaller or shaded pools, and they show wear less over time.
• Mid tones — Pacific Blue, Adriatic, Mid Blue, Misty Blue, Crestwood. The classic Australian blue-water look.
• Deep tones — Deep Ocean, Atlantis, Devonport, Black, Slate. Dramatic, mirror-like, resort feel. They absorb more heat so the water warms faster, but they also show cosmetic wear sooner.
• Greens and aquas — Lagoon, Emerald Green, Brook Green, Pond Green, Aquamist, Turquoise, Serenity. A softer, more natural lagoon look.
• Sand and neutral — Riversand, Whitsunday, Tahitian, New Jacaranda.

A Note on Pricing

Most colours are standard priced. A handful — Atlantis, Devonport, Deep Ocean, Slate and Turquoise — use premium pigments and cost more per kit. On a 10m × 5m pool needing 8 to 10 kits, that difference adds up, so it’s worth factoring in early rather than at checkout.

Choosing Your Shade

• Pool size — lighter colours make a small pool feel larger; darker tones add depth to a bigger one
• Surroundings — coordinate with paving, fencing and landscaping. If you’re also doing the surrounds, Poolside & Paving comes in 15 colours designed to sit alongside the pool range
• Sun exposure — deep shades look superb in full sun but can read almost black in a shaded yard
• Water type — saltwater tends to appear slightly lighter than fresh
• Wear — darker colours show cosmetic wear sooner, particularly at the waterline and on steps

Before You Commit

Screens lie. Colours vary between devices, between batches, and dramatically between dry concrete and water under sunlight. Never choose a pool colour from a phone screen.

Order It All at Once

Colour can vary between production batches. Order your full quantity in one go so the whole pool matches — a top-up kit bought a fortnight later may not blend with what’s already on the wall.
